Argentina & Chile (pt 2) - Bariloche, Pucon & Iguazu (20-30 Jan 2026)
Having spent 10 days in the beautiful Patagonia region, we flew from El Calafate up to Bariloche - which is more central in Argentina. We spent a few days here hiking and visiting National Parks. Some of the best viewpoints and scenery we have experienced (so far) were in Bariloche. We also did some outdoor bouldering here which was a great experience.
We then drove over the border into Chile again to stay in Pucon for 3 days. Pucon is a very cool town (my favourite), situated on a great lake at the foot of a large volcano. There are hot springs, waterfalls, hikes, treks and lots of adventure. We went canyoning down a 90m waterfall here, which was epic! We stayed in a lodge just outside town, and from our deck at night you could see the entire Milky Way at night.
We completed our Argentinian (and Chilean) adventure by going to see the Iguazu Falls - in the north of Argentina (and border of Brazil).
