Interview with William Puga from Projects Abroad Galapagos, Ecuador (23 mins)

The girls interview the founding architect of our project in the Galapagos - William Puga. William started the volunteer program in the early ‘90s, starting from hosting international volunteers in his own house and building a small project to protect the endangered giant tortoises and other endemic species, into something that has influenced and changed how all 6,000 inhabitants and 30,000 visitors live and experience the Galapagos. He is such an inspirational leader to many people, and it was a really exciting honour for the girls to sit down with him and hear all about his story and the highs and lows to get to where we are today. Enjoy!
